Casa Anhelando Andalucia is located on the mountain Loma de Barcos in the village of Iznate, a village in the Municipality of Malaga, about 30 minutes by car from the airport!

Iznate… the village behind the hill near the Mediterranean Sea.

When you take the exit from the A-7 highway to Iznate you are immediately in another world. A road winds through a beautiful landscape. And once in Iznate, just 8km from the Costa del Sol, you are in a unique village where time seems to have stood still.

lznate is located 300 meters above sea level and has 920 inhabitants. There are some tapas bars, restaurants, a small-scale supermercado (Corivan) with a small butcher, 1 bakery (panderia), 2 good fish shops.

There is a main street through the village, from which narrow streets and steep alleys wind through the village. The St. Gregory Church from the 16th century is the eye-catcher of lznate. The 2 water sources bear witness to the Medieval Moorish period.
