10 minutes walk from Arroyo train station. Birds of prey shows at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. The summit is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or wheelchairs.
Take the cable car gondola to Monte Calamorro and admire the fantastic views of the Costa del Sol, the Malaga Mountains in the north and the Sierra Nevada in the east. On a clear day you can even see Gibraltar and Africa. Arriving at the top you will see bird of prey shows twice a day with various eagles, hawks, kestrels and owls. Discover the interesting flora on the kilometers of hiking trails near the summit, while taking in the magnificent views. You will also find a bar and a shop, and plenty of space for a picnic. Make it a real trip and combine it with a visit to the Arroyo Friday market, which you happen to find right next to the cable car station.
