The place covers a large area with all sections connected in a simple and intelligent way, with walkways, decks and paths with a large number of observation points, it is easy to see these prehistoric reptiles doing their work.
With our years of experience, our passionate guides will give you a unique insight into the fascinating lives of these carnivores, which have existed since prehistoric times.
We are a cooperation entity of the Ministry of Environment for the following actions:
- Project for the conservation of the indigenous species of Spurr’s Tortoise (Testudo Graeca) and Common Chameleon (Chamaeleo Chamaeleon) and the non-indigenous species of Black-backed Turtle (Testudo marginata))
- Environmental education programme.
Our work consists in the fact that, since they are irredeemable animals, we have the dual aim of guaranteeing the life of these animals and bringing the knowledge of these species to the public.</p >
Housing these species in our park contributes to their well-being as individuals, as they are irrecoverable and unsuitable to be introduced into the environment.
