The walk starts about two kilometers before the village of Torrox Pueblo where we pass through completely to later arrive in the fields of the Sierra Almijara mountains.
The first half of the walk is gently ascending. Without realizing it we make a height difference of 100m. After five kilometers we have a short steep climb of about 200 METERS. The second half of the walk is always in a descending line.
Torrox Pueblo is one of those typical Spanish white villages in Andalusia. The village has 13,000 inhabitants and is located about 50 kilometers east of Málaga (the capital of the province). The village is 5 km from the coastline, and is surrounded by the spectacular Sierra Almijara mountains.
Although the village is very beautifully situated, there are few special sights or restaurants here. That is why you will find few tourists here.
The village of Torrox Pueblo is nevertheless very authentic and not as polished as the photogenic Frigiliana.
